Child Watch Worker

Location: The Salvation Army Kroc Center
Status: Part Time, Non-exempt, Variable Hours, Sundays

The Salvation Army has an opening for a Child Watch Worker.

The essential functions of the Child Watch Worker are to provide child care services for children in the child watch areas including personal care, hygiene, learning and development activities and specialized programs; prepares and maintains records; maintains cleanliness and orderliness of child care property. This position also assists with the set-up, oversight, and cleanup of children’s parties as scheduled. Additionally, this position may assist in performing duties for Kroc Center Day Camps or Church Nursery as scheduled.

The minimum requirements for this position include: High school diploma or G.E.D. required, and two years experience teaching child development programs in a church or pre-school, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
