Make a Donation

The Salvation Army is America’s Most Trusted Charity for good reasons, we change lives every day. Out of every dollar donated, 82 cents goes directly to help people in need.

Your of support of The Salvation Army in Augusta will help provide meals every day to the hungry, and provide shelter for homeless men, women and children every night. Help provide groceries and clothing to needy families. For those facing eviction or utilities shut-off, we keep families in their homes with assistance for utilities, rent, or mortgage. We restore lives through our drug & alcohol rehabilitation program, and so much more.

Your donation helps local people in need unless you designate your gift elsewhere, for example an Emergency Disaster recovery out of State, then 100% of your gift goes to that disaster relief efforts. With so many different programs and ways to give, we are confident that we can help you find the approach that best meets both your financial and charitable goals.

Make An Endowment Gift
You can change lives - forever. Our endowment is a source of permanent financial support. As our endowment grows, so does our ability to help those in need. The endowment is a self-renewing resource that The Salvation Army holds in perpetuity (forever) and does not spend. Instead, endowed gifts are invested and it’s the earnings from these investments that help fund our programs that changes lives. There are two endowments interested donors can choose from.

The Gerald and Betty Jones Center of Hope Endowment
Help The Salvation Army battle against poverty, hunger, addiction and homelessness through the Center of Hope. The Salvation Army has always been a champion of children and families and is a leader in services to those in need. Hope is an amazing thing. It can take a family by the hand and lead them out of despair and poverty. It can bless us with immeasurable spiritual riches in the midst of desperate times.

The Kroc Center Endowment
This endowment goes directly to the Kroc Center and will ensure that the programs and scholarships offered at the Kroc Center will continue to be a transforming force in Augusta. “We can help bring our city together by declaring our love to all of its children and showing them the faith we have in their future,” said Joan Kroc. While the center is open to all, it was Mrs. Kroc's greatest hope that it would help young people realize their potential through the various programs and opportunities it offers.
