How We Serve
The Salvation Army Center of Hope is a place where hope and basic needs are offered to homeless and low income individuals. All programs are offered free of charge. Programs offered at our Center of Hope location include a daily soup line, homeless shelters and drug & alcohol rehabilitation and job skills training programs, located at 1384 Greene Street, Augusta, GA, 30901. 706-826-7933.

Additional Services for Homeless People
Assistance is offered for people who need clothing, toiletries, help finding housing or accessing services or help with other personal/spiritual needs. Come to the Center of Hope during business hours (no appointment necessary), or call the Homeless Social Services office at 706-364-7921 for more information.

The First Stop Family Service Center
The Salvation Army of Greater Augusta’s Social Services office for people who are housed or have an address. To request an appointment or get more information, call 706-922-8330 between 8:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.  or 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Located at 1765 Broad Street (at Crawford Avenue), Augusta, GA 30904.
